Cancer - Signs Of Love

CANCER IN LOVE
The moon constantly changes its appearance; it waxes and wanes, remaining inconspicuous by day but becoming queen of the night, turning an ordinary landscape into a thing of mystery and enchantment. And so it is with Cancer - a cautious, unassuming and gentle exterior conceals a strong, ambitious and forceful inner-being, one whose most passionate qualities are revealed when in love, and one whose protective and possessive instincts come to the fore as wife and mother. One of the biggest lessons Cancer must learn in life is to let go, in every sense of the phrase: you trust yourself, and you ought to trust those you love, otherwise your fear of being let down, betrayed and left becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

He is, I have to say, possessed by mother, by which I mean the relationship he has had with his mother - good or bad - powerfully affects his romantic and marital life. Your best bet is never to criticize his mother, nor insult his family: let him do all the whingeing (which the male Crab does rather a lot). Mr Cancer adores fiery women - think Salma Hayek in Frida - although he often marries women who represent a safety blanket, someone he knows will never stray, someone who will make a mother for his children and a home for him to scuttle back to day after day, night after night.

WHO'S WHO FOR YOU - whom you're attracted to
You feel most at home with your family, which in terms of astrology means your fellow Cardinal signs - Aries, Libra, Capricorn and Cancer. You are fatally attracted to Mr Libra because he is just the smoothest guy on the block. He is romantic, well-mannered and prepared to talk about the relationship: the trouble is talk is sometimes all you get after a few years. The Aries man is another magnet - confident, flashy - he is the epitome of the knight in shining armour. Great at first but anxiety-making in the long run.
